NC - Smoky Mountains

Hey guys, here are some pics a few weekends ago of my wife and I's weekend trip to the Smokies in North Carolina. Scheduling and iteneraries prevented me from taking more pictures of different locals than I wanted to, but I did manage to get some decent shots.

Nice for keepsake but photography-wise, idk. A couple caught my eye.

Nice series- the Smoky Mountains are one of our favorite places.

You shoot an Olympus and your wife shoots a Canon? That must suck- My wife shoots a Nikon like I do that way when I buy her a lens I can borrow it right away. :D

Boosted, it looks like you were there at the same time I was. You first shot of the cabin is a very nice image, I enjoyed it!

DD - Yeah, when we arrived there it was a nice and cool 55 degrees, but the 'coldness' is different from here in FL. The coldest it got there was 38, plus gotta factor in the wind so it got pretty chilly. It was also very sunny with very few clouds. Also, for us, it was a tad harder to breathe because of the altitude.

Gdad - I know right, I tried to sway her to getting Olympus so she can have my 14-54 and I can get myself a 12-60 f2.8-4.0 lol

ERG - I saw your post too of your shots, all excellent. What part did you stay at?? We we're at Rock Creek cabins in Bryson City. We also went to a guided hiking tour, that unfortuntely, did not allow DSLR's. Something about liability or some crap, so there were some pics that were taken with a P&S that I have uploaded on myspace.
