PS3: inFamous - May 26th

Sucker Punch has confirmed that upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive inFamous has gone gold. While the waiting game is bad enough during initial development, knowing that the release is just around the bend and that the game is finished is undoubtedly far more agonizing -- just as well Sony bumped up the release date earlier this week, then.

Scheduled for release on May 26, InFamous pits gamers in the shoes of Cole, an urban explorer possessing incredible electricity-based powers. With a sprawling, open-ended environment to explore, players must decide the fate of a distraught city that has lost all hope for a better tomorrow.

Everyone planning on going to the theaters this weekend to see the new Terminator movie will see a special inFamous commercial. The promotion will run from May 22 to May 28. There is no word at this time if the spot will feature new footage, but we assume Sucker Punch put something special together for the theaters.

I played alittle bit from the DEMO on PS3.. seems pretty cool.. there are some guys with their hands on fire and they run really fast towards you.. and thats where i can't get past. I tried staying far, and shooting electrodes at them but damn.. they come out of no where behind a building and then there on ya.. lol.. not bad at all.

PS3 wont be here till tomorrow but I've had 2 more people tell my to try this game out. They said it looked gay but then they played it and it was fun. Idk, I'll check it out tomorrow.
