The 5-0 South Florida Bulls have cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season, checking in at No. 23 in the Associated Press poll and No. 24 in the coaches' poll. South Florida is just the second Big East team to be ranked this season.

The other, of course, is Cincinnati, which continues to reach new heights. The Bearcats are No. 8 this week in the AP poll, their highest ranking ever, and are No. 10 in the coaches' poll.

That sets up a meeting of two Top 25, unbeaten teams on Oct. 15, when Cincinnati goes to Tampa to take on South Florida. Both teams could be ranked a little higher in next week's poll if teams ahead of them lose this coming weekend.

thats good for the bulls im surprised they didnt crack it last week with that win over fsu, ugh florida state is doing shitty this year but im going to the game oct 31st fsu vs. nc which should be pretty cool compliments of the MWR

Well it is about damn time. I will take the ranking 1 week late. NOW for the real test against Cincy! I do wish we still had Grothe for this one..

We don't need to be ranked yet. We're 5-0 against shitty teams, we haven't even been tested yet. Hopefully we're low enough to avoid the hype and distractions.
