Tried to get some photos of the meteor shower.
I ended up just getting some scenery/stargazing photos instead. This is my first time out with the camera/tripod and it's nighttime shooting so please be gentle... http://www.flickr.com/photos/tripleberst/4111437675/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/tripleberst/4112203984/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/tripleberst/4111437423/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/tripleberst/4112225344/ I really need a remote for this camera but I can't find one for the life of me. I heard from a friend about the meteor shower and I thought of a series of videos I saw the other day. Check it out: http://www.vimeo.com/6686768 any tips for night shooting? |

for some reason you are on my ignore list I have no idea why and I cant remove you from it grrr. Saw the meteor shower last night as well at about 2am. Was pretty neat. At first we were looking in the wrong part of the sky and I was like wtf, where are these?!?
Wish I could see your pics

I completely forgot about the dang meteor shower of course. Tampa isn't the greatest spot for getting sky shots at night. Too many city lights. The main thing I would recommend is getting out to the country!
What kind of camera is it? Quote:

I took about 200 images last night and just kept switching up the ISO and aperture to see what was working. I noticed that a lot of the sky shots had the tiniest bit of tracking from me pressing the button on the camera. That's why I said I needed a remote. |
