Obama asks donors to help Clinton with debt

Why is he helping the rich?

I thought he was a man of the people... $10mil could feed and help house a lot of poor underprivileged families.

I agree. Apparently there is some bad blood between her and Michelle Obama as well.

As a right-leaning libertarian though, Im kind of glad this won't happen, as I think it would cement a Democrat win.

I wish someone would pay my bar tab when I stay at the bar waaaay too long, after everyone told me it was time to quit and I would not listen, knowing i did not have the money to do what i was doing but kept doing it anyway.

Give Hillary a break!

She gave it all and fought hard till the end. That's pretty admirable. Well almost till the end. She could have stayed and said screw Obama I'm taking this to the convention. For the sake of the party she suspended her campaign. Neither candidate had enough pledged delegates so there could still be a primary election going on.

Both candidates got over 17 million votes with Hillary in the lead with the popular vote if you exclude the caucuses where a persons vote may count 5 times more and can vote twice. For example, she won the popular vote in Texas but lost the caucus there I believe. This was the biggest primary in history. Voters turned out in record numbers. Each candidate got more votes in this primary than any candidate previously in election primary history. If I'm wrong post it. I think Obama would be wise to choose her as VP and this is a sign that he will probably do it.

This is the problem with the Dem party though. They dont know when to quit, and when they do, they expect someone to help with the bills. She rolled up the debt, it should be her paying it back. Besides, 20M for them is nothing.

besides, if you look into much of the debt, she, and Bill, shafted quite a few people out of money...and a lot of it. A guy is suiing them right now (to be heard after the elections), for over 2 million she owes him due to a fund raiser party he put together and funded expecting a return on his money. They are SHADY ass characters. The trial will be interesting because a camera has documented all she has said in regards to this and she will be required to explain wtf happened.

How is $20 million nothing to them? DO you know what their net worth is? If so please post it. Why do you say the Dem party doesn't know when to quit? The race was between two democrats who were tied. Neither had enough pledged delegates to win the nomination. Obama is raising funds for Clintons campaign debt and in return Clinton is campaigning for him.
