Will fix your computer for casual sex - m4w (USF Area)
So this isn't an original idea, but it's a good one. I'm a computer science major at USF in my last semester, and while being a CS major doesn't necessarily qualify me as a computer tech, I spend the good majority of my life under the glow of a computer monitor. So if you're in need of some basic computer services, like backing up files, reinstalling of the operating system, malware removal, or installing hardware upgrades, and don't feel like paying the electronics chains or computer shops their outrageous fees, send me an email with a pic and what needs to be done. If I can't fix it then I expect no compensation for my time.
Craigslist never disappoints.....and this was in the Computer Services section....

Reply back and tell him that you have a bunch of gay porn pop-ups on your computer (Which probably isn't a stretch) J/K and ask to trade some butt sex if he fixes it.

Tells you not to go to USF for computer science if there's no emphasize on actually learning the material. USF must be hurting for cash.

No, it tells you that the CS program doesn't teach you to be on Geek Squad for $10/hr. CS is software design and theory. Most students learn the Geek Squad shit just from being on a computer all day, but it's not part of the curriculum. Computer repair jobs are for those who can't get a degree.

My mom's CS degree at UNO taught them all of the hardware stuff and now she's flying up and down the seaboard in a company 12 seater plane testing out the software for unmanned helos she programmed. USF's program isn't very good comparing to other state universities that are cheaper. This craigslist character is going to get a $35k job instead of $60k+ starting salary.

It's just about FL in general. I have to maintain a 2.0 GPA and my schooling is paid for with no debts, hahaha. There are very low expectations of the students in this state.

You obviously have no idea what your talking about, so keep up with your 2.0 liberal arts schooling. I'm sure you can find work as a substitute teacher. USF has a good CS and CE program, and a highly recognized robotics program. BTW The average starting salary for someone with a CS degree is ~46k. Will everyone get that, no it depends on the market and location. In Tampa it's closer to ~40k, but in Atlanta it closer to 50k because the market is better. No one fresh out of college will get 60k unless you have a graduate degree and/or a lot of experience.

She got $56k straight out of school, a relocation package that paid to have my car and her truck transported down, 6 mo living expenses, plus a couple other things. They dished out over $20k to move us down to Pinellas
nottomention the 3 separate interviews they flew her down for. Just saying I'm not going to USF.

Liberal arts schooling? I'm just getting 60 credits at SPC out of the way before I leave this state. The classes they offer here suck. So far all my required classes, except for 2 of them, are give away gpa classes. Lowest grade is a B.

So you're saying she had no prior experience whatsoever? How long ago was this? 56k is not impossible, but is on the high side for the average 22yr/old fresh out of college with no experience, especially in Tampa. I doubt she had no prior experience. Companies RARELY pay to relocate entry level employees. Manager and senior level employees yes, but entry level are a dime a dozen nowadays.

back in '01 with Raytheon before the programming business got whored out by new grads. Plus gov't defense contractors will shell out some cash for something they want. Each project is a multi-million dollar deal. Anywhere else like ConAgra would have started around $45-50k. When she was a new hire (2yrs there/out of school) she survived a 180 employee layoff when they lost a contract bid to Lockheed.

She got a good deal, I'm not going to lie about that

Well government contractors like Raytheon are the exception to the rule. It's easy to pay employees well when you're overcharging the government
