but i agree with EVERYTHING you just said. the stimulus wasn't meant to help anything but the chances of the current incumbents getting re-elected. i know one person who will bite......

anyone who actually thinks a stimulus program works is fatally foolish.

The government + state run media just doesn't know what the word 'net' means. If you save 100 jobs and loose 1000, you aren't a winner. But headlines are "100 jobs saved!"

Seems elementary, but obviously not.

Most of the stimulus hasn't even been used yet. lol Half of it was tax cuts. What was it... $4 billion awarded to Maine the other day to improve their Electric grid? I wonder how many jobs $4 billion will save/create? I wonder how much cost/efficiency this upgrade will save. You can't say it hasn't done any good. You'll have to wait till the middle or end of 2010 to see the real effects.

Virginia always changes Governors after a Presidential Election. Been that way for a looong time. Corzine was doing bad to begin with so no surprise there. NY 23rd district now there's something. The Republicans have had that seat for 100 years but they lost it that night.
