And James, in the real world, people DO have to pay for services they use, kiddo. Jimmy's best bet is to gather as much info as he can in regards to the 3rd party (again, 3rd party, not having to do with Nextel) texts, and filing a complaint with the BBB. |

if it does reign true.. Port your Number QUICK to a new provider as not to loose that. before they hit your credit with it. if porting is not possible. screw it just get another number and plan before its to late and your stuck with prepay bs. just beware the current bill will go up by at least 250.00 per line for early term of the contract. "THAT" and whatever actual valid justified sprint/nextel billing charges would be justified.

call and block texts from anything that is not an actuall phone number. the only numbered texts that will then get through will be directly from Nextel and Sprint, typically just to notify you of billing status or service warnings. have this done to all phones on your account. i beleive it also block you or the user from being able to text those stupid 5 digit codes.

I rewinded the commerical as soon as i seen this making sure i had the right text sent, and no where did it say they would subscribe me to 30 other places. All it was for a free Ringtone, there was not even fine print on the TV ad. So even if he did keep all these coming in each month, i bet he could get out of most of that bill very easily. I texted back unsubscribe to the 30 or so that texted me that night and i still got charged almost 20.00 from all of that from a single starter text message for a free ringtone. |

thats crazy!! dont they have a cap as far as how much you can run up your bill for one month? i think mine is set for 300 or something. that sucks!!!! are you trying to dispute the charges from the companies?? tell the companies that your cell was stolen
