    More IRS

    1. Targeting conservatives for audits.
    2. Lavish spending for government parties.
    3. Preferential contract awards.

Yep kiddies. Just keep filing and paying your taxes like good little Americans.

Strong Castle, a relatively small IT provider founded in 2011, won more than a dozen contracts with the IRS in 2012, potentially worth more than $500 million. According to the report, Strong Castle CEO Braulio Castillo's close friendship with a top IRS purchasing official, Greg Roseman, may have “influenced the [contractor] selection process" in favor of Castillo's company.

Actually, the IRS targeting of Tea Party has disappeared from the news. Why? Because they found out nothing went wrong. The person that was responsible for the actions taken by the IRS came out and said that he was conservative and he targeted the Tea Party to be fair. It was another fake hit piece by Darrel Issa. The White house was not involved although Darryl issa tried as hard as he could to involve them. Read the comments in the website Chuck.

Congressman Issa keep digging your hole will swallow you up soon, the credibility of this chairman has been totally obliterated and has been debunked time and time again, bring those Cincinnati field officers to Washington have them in a open hearing and clarify which Republican used the Tea Party for bait to find some kind of scandal to tie the President to! Congressman Issa is making a name for himself in Washington unfortunately even Speaker Boehner has called him a joke!
The boy who cried wolf, played by Darryl Issa
To get a grasp of Issa's character look into his past.

Darrel Issa has a criminal past that includes being arrested for arson, vehicle theft, intimidation with a gun. He was never charged for the arson but he was suspected and police were baffled by the 1982 plant's large purchase in fire insurance the weeks before the arson was committed.

There are 3 incidents where he committed grand theft auto.

Sorry you haven't been paying attention. What needs to happen now is those Cincinnati field officers need to be brought to Washington for a hearing to find out which republicans used themselves as bait to try and bring down the White house in an imaginary scandal. That won't happen and this story s now being swept under the rug.

After the gun grab attempt I wouldn't be surprised if the NRA flexed it's muscle during the next election.

People seem to forget what happened the last time democrats attacked gun rights. I believe a slaughter is the right description.

You guys seem to forget that over 90% of the population wanted Congress to do something in regards to background checks and gun purchases. Nice try. There was no attack on gun rights.

Go ahead and try to say different. Let's hear it. Just because you and your friends come from the Gunshine state doesn't mean everyone thinks that they're trying to take your gun rights away.

No attacks on gun rights? Then what was the nail biter of two days of people waiting for the votes to come down in the senate? Gun rights have had their closest attack since 1994, it was just what the NRA needed as even people in the gun industry were accusing them of crying wolf.

And just because a couple of thousand answer a poll a certain way doesn't mean that they that the law crafted was what they want, all the laws attempted were travesties that wouldn't have worked to fix the issue, but instead have made normal people criminals. And regardless of what 90% of people think, all but a tiny fraction will actively vote for a gun control cannidate, but now that the NRA has been vindicated the people for gun rights OTOH will vote in a more consolidated block than they have in the past, just like they did in 1994.

Have you read any of the laws being pushed (and in some cases passed into law). Some have outright confiscations no grandfathering, most have grandfathering but no transfers (ie when the owner dies it is either deactivated, or destroyed), only a fraction have grandfather clauses that allow transfers. So yes in most cases they aren't knocking on the door for the guns just yet, but after the current generation semiauto rifle ownership in many states will be a thing of the past unless the Supreme Court rules the laws unconstitutional.

The 90% statistic was taken from a poll conducted by the Washington Post/ABC News. In it, they polled 1,001 people by phone and asked the question "Would you support or oppose a law requiring background checks on people buying guns at gun shows?"

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/page/2...tion_10030.xml

"Somehow" this morphed itself into 90% of the population wanted gun control. Before you believe or buy into ANY polling numbers, you should do the research and get the data behind it.

90%? In light of the Supreme Court's decision regarding California's vote for banning gay marriage it really doesn't matter what the people want.
