My brother-in-law is in the Army and I recently went to visit for a few days. They are immature kids who were concerned about getting drunk more than anything. Yet they are all 19, married and have a kid or one on the way. If these are the guys that passed to get in, I don’t know if we want to give waivers for the one’s who can’t get in on their own.

Remember, they are there to protect us and the country.

What do you expect? recruiters target high school kids. The ones in small towns that dont really have anything going for them are drawn to the services like flies to light. Those also happen to be the areas where people get married and have kids at 18 years old. Servicemen also know how to party.

its fucked up too cause most of these people cant even make ends meet.
Military pay may not be the best, but my wife and i live extremely well, nice cars, nice furniture, we get along great, we always have money in the bank.

They are kids man. Just because they are legal adults doesnt mean they know how to act like an adult. Shit, when I graduated HS and got my first $10/hr job I was fuckin' nagger rich. I couldnt spend it fast enough. lol
