I like the Benchmade Mini Barrage.
It is about the right size fornan EDC blade, with a good lock. I can also close it one handed with ease with little chance in cutting yourself.
Not gun related, but the people in this forum are the ones that I want input from.
I'm looking to purchase an every day carry knife. The purpose is utility and last line of defense. Budget is $150 or below, so I don't freak out if I lose it. I would prefer a folder over fixed blade, but I won't rule out a fixed. I don't mind picking up a used one from the Equipment Exchange forum on one of the larger sites out there, as long as it is in good condition, so feel free to recommend something above $150.
Any suggestions?

SOG Flash II is carried by several in this forum, myself included. Relatively cheap, very durable, very light, open assist and overall a great knife for the $$.
For your budget you could buy two of them and have $$ left over.

ill second the Flash 2. only downside is that i found is that the clip would allow it to slip off clothing easily. I wound some thin twine through the clip where it pinches on clothing. on the back side of this twine i soaked it in super glue to toughen it up. been about a year and a half of daily use since then with no issues with it. i also added a paracord lanyard, makes it alot easier to draw when in awkward positions.

I had a CRKT that I carried every day (M16Z or something like that), I recently changed to a Gerber (unknown model). I have a limit of 3" blade that I can carry to work. You guys have any recommendations?
Midway has the Flash II for as little as $30 right now.
