Krav Maga

Anyone know a dojo that teaches Krav Maga classes or at least one with Krav integrated into mixed classes? I found one in Lutz, but it's far from where I live and they're cutting their Krav classes in Fall.

Also, has anyone ever taken Krav Maga? Opinions?

Its pretty good for self defense. A lot of cops and military people use it.

It's the most practical one that I know of. You fight as if you were being attacked on the street rather than sparring in a dojo. I had one class last night and it ROCKED. You really learn how to react and just explode into action. It's very aggressive and doesn't have a lot of formalities, which I like.

^That's the one I went to last night, but they're dropping the straight Krav class in Fall.

Plus it takes me 20 minutes or so to get there from my house, and it's going to be earlier in Fall as well.

The Israeli Military has been building their Marial Art up as the best thing forever. It is junk, take Traditional Kung Fu.

yes there is a dojo for just krav in palm harbor its right off 19 by the bob evans...its kind of inside a center by a bank...very good classes and instructor.
