First of all, the "muffin top" is not even a specific muscle. It is the lower back/gluteus medius/gluteus maximus area. If you want to target the glutes I can give a plethora of exercises, but you want to lose fat. In order to lose fat you must do some sort of "cardio" exercise combined with weight training and a clean diet. I think you already work out (not sure about the cardio though).

I think you are referring to what are normally called love handles. This is the most common area for men to store excess fat. Reducing your body fat percentage is the only way to get rid of your muffin top. Diet is by far the biggest factor in losing fat. As for exercises, you will get absolutely nowhere by trying to target the specific area with side bends and other BS exercises. Instead focus on the exercises that burn the most fat: squats. and deadlifts.
