Architects?

I need an architect I guess to get the ball rolling on a home addition. Any recommendations for architects in the largo, FL area? Looking for a decent inexpensive one. Thanks

Expanding kitchen, adding bedroom w/bathroom and adding office.

Why would you need an architect for that? Look up McClane construction in Tarpon Springs or just look for McClane in the phone book. Jim(owner)has the best vision when it comes to stuff like this. he can walk in a place and tell you what he thinks would look good and also will tell you what you can and cannot do. In his book though, pretty much anything goes. He will even draw up plans for you for you. Just a suggestion.

I was told in order to get a permit in pinellas county you need plans from an architect. I'll look up mcclane though thanks

If anyone has a # that would rock!

Are you planning on doing the construction yourself? If so I guess I would go with an architect to help you design what you want, but if you plan on having a contractor come in, I would work with them to sketch up what you want done and then have them do the work, its the best way.
