Looking for a nice family mobile home park....

In the Tampa, St Pete, Largo area. Right now me and my family live in Brevard County in Melbourne, and I have been laid off from my job and there is not much going on jobwise so we are looking to move over to your area. We do not have the greatest credit and are wanting to get to know the area before we rent a home. We have 3 kids who are 5,5, and 3 and looking for a nice family park where they maybe do rent to own mobile homes. Just wondering if anyone could suggest any places to look and if there are websites please feel free to post them here. Hoping to move over there within the next month to 2 months. Thanks

Not to be a total downer, but there are not that many jobs over here either.
Many members of our forums are currently unemployed right now, laid off due to the economy.
I know of 2 guys on here, who got laid off and started looking for new jobs immediately.
They started looking in their chosen field first, nothing, then they lowered their standards just a little, still nothing.
They have now tried to find jobs anywhere, even 7-11, McDonalds, and other fast food joints, restaurants, anywhere, and they have not been able to find anything for months.
They are collecting unemployment benefits, and luckily, the gov and state gov is working on extending unemployment benefits to all those unemployed right now.
I also have several local Sarasota/Bradenton friends who cannot find work either.

But maybe you'll have better luck, start scouring the online classifieds for the newspapers, and they should also have listings for mobile homes for rent too.
You can also check the Tampa Bay area craigslist ads for mobile homes and jobs.
They may have something. http://tampa.craigslist.org/

Best of luck to you and your family.

Thanks I understand that the whole area is hurting I have already been contacted by a couple of companies over there which is more then I can say over here for the last 3 months and I am not even getting unemployment...... We are currently month to month at a mobile home park and looking for a decent one over there. We are used to a large city and to be honest Melbourne is a very BORING place. lol WE moved here from Louisville, Ky last Feb with a job and then the layoffs started. Since I have been here been layed off 2 times and nothing at all has even come up. Again thanks for the comment heres hoping I get lucky.

Still looking for suggestions. As far as finding a job in Tampa let me just say it is alot easier then here in Brevard County. Lets take for instance this thread. I started it when I started looking over in that area. I applied at a place over there, and was called back the next day to set up a initial interview. Here we are about 3 weeks later and after making 3 trips over there and meeting with several at the company I was offered the position PLUS they gave me the salary that I requested which was higher then they were starting out at. While we were over there we could not believe all the help wanted signs everywhere. My job starts on Jan 20th so that gives us 2 weeks to find a place and move over there as well as get the kids all signed up for school. Will def be a hectic time but am so glad to be back to work after looking for work over here for 4 months with out even a interview. Love the bay and the beaches over there are wonderful.
