Moving to Tampa. Schools? Area? Jobs? Ect

Hello guys, I currently live in Orlando and I'm thinking about moving to Tampa for business. I will need to get a job for a few months until I get up in my feet.
My wife's major concern is school, her oldest daughter will be going to high school next semester.
So my question goes first to parents, what high school would you reccommend for a 14 yr old girl with high honors? Education, professionalism, security wise?? (not private school)

Also, I would need a place no more than an hour away from Universal Studios in Orlando, yet be close enough to go around Dale Mabry and Fowler/Fletcher area -- 20-35 minutes ok. A nice, low crime hood is a plus for middle class Americans..... Broke, but not poor

And last thing would be, I need a job. If there's any local place that you're familiar with let me know.

Any info would be so so great, I really appreciate any info given.
    Thanks,
    Jonathan.

I don't know too much about the schools here in Tampa. Personally, I don't care for Tampa too much since I grew up in Plant City and Lakeland. I know Hillsborough County schools are a lot better than Polk County. My husband and I are actually considering moving out to Plant City. Plant City is kind of in the middle of Tampa and Orlando so it would be a decent spot for driving to each. It will be about a 30-45 min drive to our jobs in Tampa but the area is a little safer and more laid back. Brandon is really nice too since they have so much there but it is just so crowded. It just depends on what kind of town is right for you. For a job, I would just start looking online. I don't personally know of anyone that's hiring but it also depends on what type of work you're looking for. I know this probably didn't really answer your question very well but that's all I got.

Good luck & Welcome to the site!
