i finally watched paranormal activity and this movie is super creepy..i had to look it up again to make sure it wasnt real haha...ill be up all night for sure..good movie tho

I grabbed the blu ray rip, it wasn't bad, nothing amazing but seeing Anna Paquin in it was kinda funny.

Watched Martyrs finally... definitely went in a direction I didn't see. I thought the movie was over 40 min in and BAM!

My favorite "scary" movie would probably have to go to 28 Days Later, I fuckin love that movie. It wasn't intensely scary but the writing was awesome and had a lot of emotion.

My favorite in the horror/comedy genre:

Bad Taste
The Evil Dead
Army of Darkness
Drag Me To Hell (recent movie, came out either this year or last year, very good)
Shaun of the Dead (amazing)

The Descent

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original and the remake are both good)

Saw Martyrs lastnight and its definetely the most ultra violent movie ive seen. Not for the sqeemish. After the begining scene with the family, i thought this would only be a straight up gore fest and nothing more. But then the movie starts to get freaky scary, similar to the grudge.

This movie was pretty high on the creepy factor. Shot the same way cloverfield was.

I need to check out martyrs. I need movies to start dl'ing again. Gotta take advantage of the new hdtv.

ie your list Torso, Nightmare City (which was HORRIBLE, I peeped a clip of it and OMFG are you kidding?)

DL Quarantine, and Marytrs now..

One of my friends who's yet to get me the title of the film told me about a documentary ish type movie that had something to do with snuff or something of the matter. I'm trying to get him to get me the name of the movie. Plot was something like he was actually killed the same way he depicted killing one of the actors in the movie, on a beach..

I'll get it, review and report back. If anyone knows the movie, let us know.

So anyone have any more updated movies? Gore, Sex, Violence combos? LOL
