Ok. It's based on real events and actual military research from the late 70's, and is a sarcastic stab at how the military spends it's money.

The movie has my cash jsut for being based on actual events.

Jon Stewart has the author on his show a couple months ago. Funny guy, almost made me want to read the book. Then I saw a movie was coming out and realized I could save myself 2 weeks of reading.
