i have a 3 1/2 year old Male Burmese Python, he's about 9' (estimated) and 35 pounds.
very tame, i've had him since he was a baby (see pic below)
he has never struck at me
he is eating a medium rabbit every two weeks
I just had a daughter and we dont have much time for him anymore.
i will sell the snake alone for $175..edit. now for sale for $99.00 (or best offer, NO OFFER REFUSED) at Scales Exotic Pets in Seffner.

you sure that's a male? I have, or what I thought I had was, a female. (s)he's about as old as yours, but a little over 6 feet. I haven't had mine sexed, it's just what I was told it was. has yours been sexed?

he was eating weekly up to med rats, then weekly/bi-weekly on large rats. he's eating every 2 weeks now, med rabbits

I don't feed mine that much, so I guess it makes sense. I feed mine a large/XL rat every 1-2 weeks.

haha I had 13 of them at one point and now I'm down to 6. I have a couple ball pythons I'm trying to get rid of. I'm not looking to buy anything new... especially that big.

good looking snake, though.. good luck. you try putting it on kingsnake.com yet? unfortunally male burms, as you probably know, are a dime a dozen.

if the cage sells, im gonna put him up for consignment at my local pet shop (not really a 'pet' shop, but a reptile shop.

if you remember and if you end up going to that reptile shop, ask them if they have any interest in adult female balls. it's about to be breeding season, I think, and I'm pretty sure they go for a good chunk of change.

WOW!!! thanks for pointing that out captain obvious,i called twice and no answer,so i figured i would ask him to see if he knew,do you even know what an aru or a biak are?(without using google)anyway sorry to hijack the thread,but this guy ^ can STFU

he has em every now and then. yeah like i said, its a one man show so if the store is full (its in a strip mall and he puts the iguana's outside, it attracts a lot of walk throughs) he probably wont be able to answer
