I guess all Florida fans think the same now. Every single one of our fans from 5 years old to 90 years old all have exactly the same viewpoint on every single issue. Not a single one of us can think for ourselves, we are not democratic or republican we have our own party, we are all brainwashed into believing the exact same thing. Since I am a Florida fan, I must be so fucking dumb that I only believe that players from FSU and Miami are capable of crime. It can't be theoretically possible that any player has an equal chance of doing something stupid. Shannon dismissing any player if they do something wrong is a terrible reflection on himself as a coach. Being a coach of a big time program is not an 8-5 football only job. A successful coach will not only coach football but must coach life as well. What if Randy Shannon dismisses a player who screws up, but that player is very capable of turning his life around and being a successful addition to society? There should never be a rule like that in any facet of life. Each individual situation must be treated differently than next or else it is doomed to failure. Too many of you guys think that one strike automatically means termination. Anyone ever heard of a second chance? |

Every fan of every team calls Miami Thug U. I know you like to hate on Florida but try and be reasonable. Furthurmore, Urbans ethics should be questionable to every one of us. All of his decisions are behind closed doors and not a single one of us know the details. I wouldn't be suprised if one of his second chances bit him in the ass but if one out of five of those second chances works then it's worth it. |

I don't see the point of a half game suspension. It was not severe enough. I would have been happy with a full game. Anything more is overkill, anything less is an embarassment. On the flip side, if you suspend Spikes the SEC should suspend a few choice players on Georgia. The late hit that I posted earlier was disgusting as well. If Tebow gets hurt, that makes headlines for a month and that kid is in some trouble. He's lucky Tebow is built like a tank. |

So, anyone think Meyer will get any sort of reprimand/punishment for somewhat calling out the officiating? The SEC instituted their new "hardcore" suspend-a-coach-if-he-talks-shit-about-refs rule last week. Meyer really only brought it up because someone asked, but he probably should have gone with a, "No comment."

The Spikes incident is much worse in comparison anyway. I think it's more of a PR move to show the rest of the nation that the Gators weren't the only team on the field taking cheap shots. |
