but I don't think these two can be compared...when this happened with blount there were many stories that came out that he had been a problem in the past and had broken team rules before and I think previously even been suspended...spikes had always been a good student athlete and to my knowledge hadn't been in trouble before....this being said I do agree the original 1/2 game was weak...should have been at least 1

plus the gators can't help that the next team on the schedule was vandy...just the way it worked out

Doesn't change the fact that he could have ended someone's career and blinded them. OJ never killed anyone before he murdered two people, but it's ok because he was cool before it.

Dude seriously.....now you're just digging. Any personal foul can potentially end someones career. If I remember correctly there were a few helmets swung around at a Miami game a few years ago. Let me guess....that doesn't count?

Face mask. Check. Horse collar. Check. Chop block. Check. Roughing the passer. Check. All can ruin someones career.

If the late hit on Tebow somehow aggrivates his recovering from a concussion and he reinjures his brain something serious...I somehow doubt you're in this thread asking for Nick Williams head. In fact, I think you'd be on your way to Athens for an autograph.

I assume you're talking about the FIU incident? Larry Coker was the coach and almost all Miami fans are glad he's gone. It was unacceptable behavior.
