Freeman named starting QB

Why not at this point. Is Shaun King available if he dont work out?

If anything, this may be a good move in the fact that they can evaluate Freeman, since he'll have a good number of games to get experience. Then they'll know whether they need to draft another QB or not. Granted, I know Freeman won't be perfect since rookies never are, but if they start him for the remaining 9 games, he should be able to show some semblance of development.

Even if he sucks ass, they wont draft another QB unless they are looking for a backup in the late rounds. Not this year anyway...

Ed Zachary! I'm all for him playing. Leftwich SUCKED. JJ didn't fair much better, even though I like him a bit more overall. What do we have to lose? He already picked us up our first W!!!!!

If he continues to improve, it would add TONS of stability to QB, and TB has never been known for that. I would love to see the Bucs with a steady QB that develops into a great player, and spend our drafts and money picking up guys we need.
