Rays fans... Just a question

Well the economy sucks right now of course. All businesses are trying to think of different ways to attract customers.

So my question to you is; If my tattoo shop were to give discounts on Rays tattoos while the Rays are in the playoffs and possibly world series... would any of you jump and get one?

Do you think many people would?

im sure people would but i wouldn't. i like tattoo's but i dont believe in getting a tat just to have one. I think they should have some sort of significance behind them.

yeah thats the most ideal thing, but not everyone is like that. I figured we'd get a few. I always get Rays fan in here talking shit as soon as the walk in the door and see my ugly mug behind the counter with my red sox hat on

But I just thought that maybe if they came in in Rays gear you could offer some sort of discount on some other tattoo...

very good idea, I'll pass it by the higher powers. I was thinking about offering red sox tattoos as well.. but I'm afraid the rays fans with curse the shop and never come in hahahahah

Might get a few fanatics to do it...but when tattooing a sports team comes to mind I always think about the Washington Senators (and any of the sports teams that changed cities)...just seems kind of silly.

haha, everyone that comes in says "I want a tattoo as long he's not doing it" just because of my hat.

but luckily for everyone else I'm not a tattoo artists, I'm the piercing apprentice.

the only way I would get ANY tattoo of a franchise/team was if I played for them.

i dont think anyone who is not an obsessed fan or just a nutjob will get a sports team tattoo. to me, that parallels getting someone's name tatted on you.

but i do like the idea of coming in wearing rays gear (or bosox gear i guess since they are the other team who will be in town) getting a discount.
