Cell phone to home phone?

Is there a way (some sort of device) that will allow me to have my cell phone ring throughout the house on my normal phones?

I don't want to pay for cell and home service, it just seems like it would be much easier when I'm home to have my cell somehow plug into the house's current phone lines and then ring throughout. That would be ideal.

Two story house, I can't hear it on the second floor. And I'm lazy, I don't want to always carry it on me.

For 135 dollars I'd rather stop being lazy and carry my phone.

I think i have seen home phones at Target and such lately that have bluetooth connecting your cell to your home phones.

This is what I was coming in to say, Google Voice will allow you to enter several phone numbers, and they will all ring when your number is called.

That's an easy one, don't give people your home number, cancel home service, use cellphone at home.

1 more time for those that still don't get it. he doesn't have a home phone. He wants to use his cell phone at home, like a home phone. Google voice will not help here.

That's your problem.

You still need local service in order to forward all calls to your home phones. There is no way to do what you want to do on the cheap.

Wouldn't a Bluetooth capable Home Phone, not connected to Home Service, just there, work? Basically the Bluetooth Headset would work just like a normal Bluetooth ear piece?

Yeah but he also said he has a 2 story house. Good luck with your bluetooth signal reaching downstairs if the phone's upstairs. I think this guy wants a little too much for too little. He can't honestly be serious about not wanting to pay for home and cell service. Vonage is literally 29 dollars a month after taxes.

I'm completely serious about not wanting to pay for home service. There really isn't any point in it with the amount that I'm paying for cell service. There are some options out there, I just need to explore them.

Who knows....maybe I'll go with Magic Jack!

I thought you didn't want home phone service at all? Magicjack is honestly your best bet if your motives are purely economic. You can just forward your cell calls to your house phone while you're at home(should be real easy depending on the cell phone you're using).
