I was lookin at that Snap Dragon phone (DELL?) looks really super nice, but after owning a Google G1 for a month or two now, I don't really care for "Andriod" technology at all. Not to mention hows the battery hold up on that thing? Curious about that.. IF the battery held up for more than a few hours of texting or using my blue tooth for more than 40 min I might consider it.

Then again, I'm really stuck on going back to my iPhone.

The acer liquid has the snapdragon processor, the dell streak hasn't been announced yet but it wouldn't surprise me if it had a snapdragon in there also. I really want the streak but idk how long I can wait for a new phone.

And here-in lies the problem IMO. Verizon may have the largest 3G network but I don't generally hear people saying "I'm switching to verizon". At least it has wifi, since verizon has had a reputation for having phones lacking wifi, like the storm was just so people wouldn't want to use the phone without a data plan. Glad to see they took the stick out of their ass.

I'm honestly just tired of people labeling every new touchscreen phone that comes out as an "iphone competitor/killer". IMO there's no phone out now that can compete with the iphone pound for pound.

There is a GSM version of it also. I'm going to the VZ store to talk about switching from ATT to VZ and getting this phone. Hopefully I can sell my iphone and they can help me with the cancelation fee from ATT.

The whole GSM vs CDMA argument is sooooo tired. People don't even know what GSM or CDMA is nor do they care. To suggest that network tech would sway someone when picking a phone is crazy. Had the iPhone been on Verizon, just as many people would have bought it in the United States. Though there probably would have been a GSM version anyways for overseas.

CDMA vs GSM really is irrelevant. Both have done a great job of matching each others network speeds and QOS, to where there is pretty much parity between GSM and CDMA networks here in the states.

(though you do hear much more bitching about ATT's Sprint and TMobiles networks than Verizon)
