Hey does anyone have an extra vga to dvi adapter???

Just looking for a single vga to dvi adapter. I'd give someone like 5 bucks for it no problem. Call me 813 464 4756. I stay by dale mabry and gunn hwy and will pick up depending on how far it is....

i know i have one..but i more n likely wont b able to meet or let u come get it til sunday..MAYBE tomorrow but i doubt it.. unless ur willing to drive out to my house and i can leave it in the mailbox and u can get it? but ud have to lmk within the next..20 mins

Huh... I didn't realize they made vga to dvi adapters. I'm assuming you can use a hdmi adapter in series also? Sorry for threadjack.

I don't think that will work. VGA > DVI would be an analog signal which I'm pretty sure HDMI doesn't support (being digital)

DVI-A and DVI-i can use DVI to VGA converters as both these formats have parallel analog signals on the same line as their digital signals.

It doesnt actually convert it from digital to analog.

^ shouldn't that be "CAN have digital and analog on the same line"....as long as it's DVI-I....

actually I had it wrong, DVI-A and DVI-I run true analog signals in the 4 larger pins. it isnt CAN, they always run analog signals.

DVI-D omits the 4 pins and the analog signal.

DVI-A is only analog, so of course it always sends the analog signal.
