so 2 weeks ago i notice that i cannot upgrade. considering you get one per year it made me wonder what the fuck is wrong. i call them, and finally after 2 hours of explaining common sense to these people they figured it out.

so i go buy a new device, and i ended up returning it since it sucked. so i turned on my old, perfectly working treo which ended up getting fubared because of the shitty ass belt clip that they sell. so now im with out a phone and have to buy one...again.

this is where reading is fundamental. i hate verizon people. they are the lowest form of life out there. even lower than the indians that sprint uses when you call them.

basically, if i got my issue from march fixed 2 weeks ago by someone else, why are you gonna look at something from 8 fucking months ago? by doing this, 2 hours of screaming, cursing, insulting, kicking, throwing and badgering got me the same retarded monkey giving me the same retarded monkey end result until finally someone else in the store finally decided to pull their head out of their ass and use the common sense that they on the phone were ignoring and take my word for it that they are too dumb to do anything correctly. meanwhile all this took 4 people and 2 phone calls over 2 hours. what a waste of man hours that is.

so i walk out with a new phone...which i didnt even want in the first place.

am i done? FUUUUUCCCK NO!

i get home after being pissed off and decide that i want them to replace my old phone with a new one, and give me 100 dollar credit OR out of my contract.
i got the new phone coming, and no credit and no contract change.

verizon advertises this worry free shit.

well....lets break this down

1. No run-around: ive had that quite a few times in the past. having to make more than 1 call is a run around when i cant get a supervisor to call me back...run around does not mean driving to multiple stores over 2 counties either.
2. no hassles: spending more time on the phone with you turd eating phone monkeys over my own mother is sad. thats a hassle. its also a hassle having to hang up on one dumbass to get to a smarter dumbass. its a hassle having to call back after 5 days when someone promises to call me back in 24 hours.
3. If your issue can't be resolved during the course of your first call, we'll get back to you with an answer: i cant comment on the answer part because i never get the call back!

so the way i see it, i pay them for service. service is split in to 2 parts. technical user end services which i get and usually work ok, and customer services which are totally useless. so since im only getting 50% of what i pay for, why dont i get to pay them for only 50% of what i get? nah, thats not good tho. since i dont get their written promise to me that I pay for, why am i paying for it?
so after 9 more calls i get a super calling me back 5 min after i hang up with the 9th idiot who then calls me later on to give me an offer to correct the problems that i presented.

so now here is what i got.
i got my contracts totally wiped out from all the additional things that were added on today. he reset my acct back to like it was day 1 over a year ago
i can upgrade my phone again tomorrow if i wanted to, and get my 100 dollar credit in june still.
35 dollar bill credit
and a replacement phone for free.

it became principle...regardless of the turn out,

FUCK YOU VERIZON WIRELESS. MAY THE PHONE CORD STRANGLE YOU ALL UNTIL YOU VOMIT YOUR LUNCHES AND CHOKE ON IT AND GURGLE UP AND DIE HARD.

I do battle with VZW tomorrow.

I am trying to upgrade to a Blackberry Pearl and am at 16 months. My 100 off discount new-every-two deal doesn't kick in till 4/30/08. They won't give me the 100 off (making the phone $99) until 4/30. Even though i'll be paying nearly 30-40 bucks MORE a month they won't give me that deal. All they will do is change my mail in 50 dollar rebate that I was already getting into an instant rebate. FUCK THAT. I want to spend MONEY with your company, RENEW for another two YEARS... and you can't bump off 100 dollars ONLY 3 MONTHS EARLY? Fuck.. The additional costs alone in the first 3 months will make up for what they lost. Fucking people.

Tomorrow I do call 3. Call #1 ended up with them saying "Well I am sorry you feel that way sir" very rudely as I hung up on their face. Call 2 went better but all in all got me nowhere. Tomorrow i call again, this time the verizon online # they gave me and see if I can kick and sscream at them long enough.

I'm not paying 220 bucks for a new fucking phone when I am renewing my contract. Fuck that shit.

Let me get this right:
- You dont want to pay 220 which is 2/3 of the retail price to renew a contract you would have to renew anyways in order to have service
- You DO want to pay 1/3 of the retail price
- You want to get it now even though the published discount doesnt take effect until three months from now
- You do want to get a popular phone three months before everyone else gets an opportunity to get it
- You want them to change rules just for you even though they are clearly stated.


Only in America does every person think they are so special the rules don't apply to them.

Those "rules" are made to benefit them and can easily be over ruled.

Apparently you haven't worked in customer retention. I did and the things we would do to keep a customer were outrageous. 2-3 free months service, credits, etc. etc.

The company makes how much money? I have had to call them how many times because they fucked my bill up?

I am happy with their service, not their support. I pay for both.

And don't give me that retail shit, if anyone is stupid enough to pay full retail they deserve to waste their money.

ps: I got the phone for $99.

They want to keep me as a customer, they will give me this deal. And they did.

Do I feel bad or special? No. I feel like they actually did something to make me, the customer, happy.

You can continue to get bent out of shape and ass fucked by whatever companies you give your hard earned money too. Go ahead and waste it instead of asking for a better deal. I prefer not too.

So in my hand I hold a new Blackberry Pearl 8130...

Total cost? 50 bucks with a 50 buck mail in rebate.. So in other words..total cost = $0..

I bitched enough and they moved up my New-Every-Two deal up a few months so I walked into the store and bought my phone. It did take 3-4 calls though of about 20min. each.

Never take the first offer. Stop being pussies and get angry!

ps: My prior posts state I paid 99$...That phone never showed up and somehow got lost in the system. I bitched some more on the 17th and they gave me the better deal because of it.

haha suckers. "Go pay retail".. lol

I worked in Verizon DSL retention. DSL as a technology is retarded. Or, at least it's handled in a very retarded way by Verizon. Once someone's service gets unplugged, Verizon happily informs people that the cancel order cannot be stopped and they have to wait at least 2 weeks before their service can get reconnected. It's absurd.

Plus, you get the fact that DSL is totally separate from the other entities. DSL employees are not trained to handle anything other than DSL and don't even get any kind of training in wireless so they can transfer people directly to specific departments inside of wireless. Or with FIOS, or with anything else.

Oh, and if you want to get "promoted" from working the DSL service side of things, you can go into working for the landline phone side of things and be forced to do 3 months of training with no chance to miss a day and be subjected to insane quotas that require the reps to give people services they did not ask for to make those quotas, or face being fired.

Ok, need to see if anyone else is having the same STB issues I have. My box will randomly add, and remove channels from my favorites list. I have removed "Boom" and at least 4 other retarded cartoon channels 4 times yesterday, and already twice today. It will also remove an HBO channel, although it has not done this in a couple months. Has anyone else had this problem with their FIOS HD STB?

I have a question. I have a Verizon Moto Q and I am currently an Alltel customer. Verizon has already took over the network I was on, but when i went to finally use my Verizon phone they said I couldnt without switching over to a Verizon plan. Does anyone know a way around this?
