we burned our trash at my parents' since we lived in a location the garbage truck could not come. So once a week we'd shovel the ashes/cans/glass that was left into a black bag and drop it off at my grandmothers for pickup. Anyways, I remember numerous occasions when a lightbulb, or aerosol can you forgot to take out of the trash before you lit it on fire would scare the shit out of you when they exploded I wonder what ignited so violently? haha.

they probably just shoved a lot of crap in there and had air pockets and when the paper caught fire and hit an air pocket in a small container it only has one way to go and thats up.
My father and i about 20 years ago, had a concrete Fire pit we packed palm frawns in and put a lil bit of gasoline on top since it was still green frawns. We tossed in a Match and BOOM all that packed air went up quick! lol it blew the ceinder blocks into pieces. |
